The track “Legends” came about when Me (Rickyrogers) & a-dub linked to catch up on where life has lead us since the last time we saw each other. Back in meddle school A-dub was one of the four people that really got me writing, listening to beats & thinking of concepts, as well as my first attempts at recording in closets with a usb mic. At the time we had management companies wanting to work with us which where I first got the glimpses of a professional studio and what it looked like. We couldn’t get the management company to understand how we wanted to be marketed so we ended up parting ways shortly after that with the management and with each other simply because life got in the way. Fast forward 11 years later I produce/write record/mix all of my own content, I own my own publishing company, I own a studio of my own, and I’ve managed to learn how to collect royalties as an independent artist. I drop content every month for those that have been listening to me, So when Me & A-Dub reunited it was almost like perfect timing. We both have the same mindset and dedication we’ve had this whole time it’s just now we both understand the game a little better. This entire year we both will be releasing music & music video's to every song we drop this year. A new song will be delivered every month and a new music video will be dropped every other month so that ya’ll can catch up on the content being uploaded. 11 years in and we finally are developing a platform where independent artist not only have a voice but most importantly a place where independent artist can be heard. Nothing would make me happier than to finally present “Legends”. A milestone to where we have been, and a glimpse to where we are headed.
